I have been a counselor for over thirty years, and throughout my career, I have grown both as a human being and as a professional. My approach to working with individuals and couples today emphasizes supporting and guiding them toward greater self-awareness and mindfulness. I believe in fostering personal growth and transformation from the "inside out and outside in." This approach ensures that the insights gained from the counseling experience are both sustainable and authentic. As a result, individuals are more successful in achieving their goals, as well as finding acceptance, peace, and joy.

A bit about my approach to therapy
I have a tool belt of approaches that I use to offer clients an individualized experience.
I use Mindfulness, Eclectic, CBT,
Brainspotting, Relational, Transpersonal, Trauma-Focused, Family Systems, and Parts Work.
I am set up with two platforms, Headway and SonderMind, which help streamline our intake and ongoing logistical process. After you share your information—name, email, phone number, and insurance details (if you plan to use insurance)—I will send you a secure link through one of these platforms. From there, you can complete the intake paperwork online.
Once your paperwork is finished, you can either schedule directly through the platform or reach out to me, and I’ll get your first appointment set up.
In our first session, we’ll spend a little time making sure all the details are clear, talk about what brought you here, and start looking at the areas of your life you’d like to focus on. From there, we’ll make a plan together that feels right for you.
Supportive Information
I may request that you complete various tasks as part of your treatment plan. It may be reading a book or article, listening to a podcast, doing something outside of your comfort zone in regard to communication or behaviors. Just know there will be no judgement around whether you complete the tasks in a timely manner or at all. It is VERY important and part of your growth/healing process to communicate with me as directly as possible and to tell me if something feels too uncomfortable. This will allow me to get to know you better, and if we need to change direction with our approach.
